There is one classroom in which business studies is taught, equipped with LCD projectors and computers.

GCSE
Business Studies is taught in fourth and fifth year where pupils have the opportunity to develop their learning and understanding on different aspects of business and finance. With five main study aims the course is divided under the headings of

• Business aim, types and organisation
• Human resources
• Production
• Marketing
• Finance and accounting

A GCSE in Business Studies provides pupils with an opportunity to gain a realistic insight into and understanding of the world of business. Within N. Ireland there is a renewed emphasis on business literacy and the development of employability skills and the specification makes a positive contribution to these priority areas.
