How does maths benefit pupils?
Mathematics develops skills in oral, written and practical
work. Pupils learn to think clearly and logically, analyse
situations and organise their work. They use mathematics as a
means of communication and apply it in other areas of the
curriculum. They are equipped with transferable skills which
help prepare them for future employment.
