Competitions for 2007/8

After a successful 2006/7, RSD intend to take part again in the Ulster Schools’ Showjumping Championships hosted by BRA, at Knockagh Lodge Equestrian Centre, Greenisland, Co Antrim.  The show dates are as follows:

Saturday 17th November 2007

Saturday 15th December 2007

Saturday 19th January 2008

Saturday 16th February 2008

Saturday 15th March 2008 (Final)

 

The classes include:

Class	Max Height of Fences	Time
Individual	80cm	10am
Novice Team	85cm	11am
Open Team	1m	2pm

 

Rider/pony combination can only compete in one class.

Points will be awarded to the top 6 individuals and top 6 teams in each class to determine an overall champion.

The winners of this competition will gain the prestigious title of 2007-2008 Ulster Schools’ Showjumping Champions’.

Saturday 17th November 2007

Hannah Buchanan finished 6th individually and Megan Stewart finished 7th place.  Well done girls!

Amy Whittle and James Laverty jumped a double clear round in the team competition.

 

Saturday 23rd February

RSD team are currently in 8th position.
