Sponsored Walk

The sponsored walk is an annual event in the RSD calendar where 700 people descended upon Peatlands Park. Pupils, teachers and Mr Hewitt alike, all had set out with the intention of enjoying the fresh air, getting out of doing school and raising some money for some very worthy causes.

In 2009 the sponsored walk was held to raise money in aid of The Southern Area Hospice, The Shree Kartik Oraon High School and School Funds. As usual it was a fun filled day for all who participated and the unusually good weather made it all the more enjoyable.
