2012 SKI TRIP – Les Carroz, Haute Savoie, France

The intermediate group in celebratory mood

A big thank-you, to all of the parents who supported the trip. It was very successful. The 80 children, our biggest party ever, had a great time, the snow was excellent, the scenery spectacular and the weather good. The beginners could not have had better conditions to learn to ski in. The hotel was very good, only five minutes walk from the village centre and five minutes from the main lifts in the morning.

Year 9 Girls relaxing at luchtime on the sun terrace of the mountain top restaurant; Bethany Matthews, Katie Sloan & Rachel Kelly.

The intermediate and advanced groups had a huge range and variety of slopes to test and hone their skills on. I hope the positive experiences and memories will remain fresh for many years to come.

The Sixth Form doing what they do best….posing!

I would like to thank the staff who gave up their time to come on the trip; Miss McCombe, Miss Robinson, Mrs Matthews, Mrs Clingan, Mr Willis, Mr Watterson and Mr Hunniford. The next trip will be next Easter due to the very late Easter in 2014.
