Y11 & Y12 Business Studies pupils had the opportunity to hear all about a very successful local social enterprise from its founder, Dave Linton.

Inspired by the story of a child in care who was using a bin bag for their belongings, he started a company called Madlug – ‘Make a Difference luggage’ which gives a bag to a child in care for every bag that is purchased. So far they have donated 60,000 bags but their aim is to have given 100,000 bags to children in care by April 2024 so if you are stuck for a Christmas present idea why not have a look at their website https://www.madlug.com/
