The RSD Dramatic Society brought the streets of 1930s New York to life through their brilliant production of ‘Annie’. The show is a worldwide musical phenomenon, with a simple story. Annie is an 11-year-old girl who was left on the doorstep of Ms Hannigan’s orphanage as a baby and now she is determined to escape and find her real parents.

In October 2023, four teachers and 39 Spanish students met at 1:30 AM outside RSD. Due to this early start everyone made it safely to Barcelona El Prat Airport by 9AM. Despite everyone being incredibly tired, we all managed to go on a sightseeing tour around Barcelona. Seeing famous landmarks such as: La Sagrada Familia, Plaça d’Espanya, Casa Battló and many more buildings designed by Antoni Gaudí.

Another September, another School Prize Day – and this year was not one to be missed! Following all the formalities of awards and applause, the time had come to settle down for our ‘Guest of Honour’ – past pupil Rebecca Edwards BEM, OLY, BA(Hons) and 2x Team GB Olympic Rower is about to deliver an inspiring speech, linking greatly to her time in school.
