Congratulations to our Year 12 pupil, Louise Smiton.Louise has been competing for 9 years and is Drum Major for Closkelt Pipe Band, and locally with Lisbeg Pipe Band Co. Tyrone.
She has had an amazing competition season this year achieving:
- 2nd at the European Championships
- 3rd at the British Championships
- 3rd at the Scottish championships
- 6th at the Uk Championships
- 4th place at the World Pipe Band Championships in Glasgow
We’re all very proud of Louise’s achievements and wish her continued success as she pursues her passion. Well done, Louise! What an excellent year!
