The U15 XI were successful in their first round cup game at home to Carrickfergus College on Wed 18th May. RSD batted first having won the toss and thanks to Kyle Anderson (16 runs) and a late flurry by Jonathan Patterson (16 runs) they posted a score of 78 runs in 20 overs. This was not a big total and did in no way guarantee victory!

However, despite some poor RSD fielding (5 dropped catches), the bowling of Stuart Moore (2-17), Thomas Fegan (2-5) and Caleb Dilworth (3-3) ensured a 28 run victory. A much stiffer task is ahead in the second round with a home tie with Wallace HS.
