Today, Liz from the Livestock and Meat Commission in Northern Ireland demonstrated two different recipes to all pupils in Year 9 using farm quality assured beef. Liz reminded the pupils about the LMC Farm quality assurance logo and talked pupils through the benefits of purchasing FQAS beef and lamb products, from high quality food safety standards, improving animal welfare and environmental protection. Pupils have all been given a leaflet containing some delicious recipes and more information on the role of LMC NI.
