On Wednesday 16th October, ten pupils from RSD travelled to the Burnavon Theatre in Cookstown to participate in a paired reading course. RSD paired up with three other schools from the local area to learn skills in how to be good reading mentors. Pupils joined together to take part in role plays, team building activities and presentations. All pupils learnt valuable skills to help them become great mentors, which will be extremely useful when they commence their mentoring programme in the upcoming weeks.
