Parents and pupils try out some Scottish dancing

The PFTA Ceilidh took place on Thursday 27th January.  Parents, friends, teachers and pupils enjoyed the experience of learning a few new moves, courtesy of caller, Mr McGuinness. By the end of the evening those who took part had been well and truly put through their paces.  In fact the following day, many of the older participants were experiencing pain in muscles that they never knew existed, but all are now experts at dancing “The Dashing White Sergeant”!

Kilts were kindly lent by Mr Walter Cuddy, and these helped add to the Scottish flavour of the occasion.  Many of the pupils who attended took great joy in dressing up in these and dancing the night away.

Thanks to all those who supported the Ceilidh and made it such a memorable evening.  Special thanks to Walter Cuddy and to Mr McGuinness.
