Congratulations to the RSD Show Jumping Team for being placed 3rd in the Schools’ Show Jumping Championship, held at Balmoral Show on Saturday. The team consisted of Erin Mathieson (Year 8), Emma-Jane Orr and Bethany Robinson-Smith (both Year 11) and Tori Showkum (Year 14).
The girls qualified to compete at Balmoral after winning the qualifier at Lusk Equestrian Centre in March this year. The girls were the highest placed team from Northern Ireland in the competition and were also awarded the prize for the best turned out team. This is an incredible achievement and is also a real credit to their dedication and hard work. Well done!
