Success for Calum Bain at Ulster Swimming Championships

Congratulations to Calum Bain who had a very successful day at the Ulster Swimming Championships on Saturday 24 November.  Calum won two gold medals: first, in the 100m butterfly, where he set a new record with a swim of 60.82 seconds; and then in the 100m freestyle where he produced another record-breaking time (53.78 secs). Erin Bain also qualified for the 100m breaststroke final and finished in a very creditable fifth place. In all, eleven RSD pupils took part in the Championships which were held in Ballymena.
