Year 10 Art Printmaking workshop at Ranfurly House

A group of Year 10 Art pupils were so fortunate to get the opportunity to attend a day long workshop with local artist Mary Murphy last week, at Ranfurly House in Dungannon. Pupils used the location of Ranfurly House as their inspiration and learned how to create their very own intricate salt-etch print, with the help of the artist and Mrs Shaw. Both pupils and staff found the day to be extremely enjoyable and the Art Department of RSD would like to extend our sincere thanks to both the AMMA Centre in Armagh and to Ranfurly House and Hill Of The O’Neill for facilitating this event. We will be looking out for it again next year!
