Year 13 Artists visit Ulster Museum and Degree Show

Year 13 pupils enjoyed a trip to Belfast last week to visit the Ulster Museum and to attend the University of Ulster Degree show. Staff and pupils were delighted to see the Ulster Museum’s recently acquired Renoir painting ‘L’allée au bois’ alongside the beautiful Turner painting ‘The Dawn of Christianity, The Flight into Egypt’. The group also enjoyed a quick visit to the 2021 Turner Prize exhibition as well as the Hannah Starkey exhibition at the Ulster Museum. We were delighted to view our past pupil, Laura Anderson’s Degree Show work at the University of Ulster and we wish her well as she graduates this summer with a BA in Animation. Both Mrs Best and the Year 13 class thoroughly enjoyed a great day out and the beautiful weather on the day just made it perfect!
