The end to the term may have been cold in terms of the weather, but the heat was on in the Lower Campus as the House Talent Competition got underway, with all participants eager to impress guest judges Jennifer Hobson and Andrew Kelly.
Both former RSD teachers were impressed and surprised by some of the talent, though they admitted that it was not easy to reach a verdict, as all houses performed spectacularly and thoroughly deserved recognition. But in the end they handed the victory to Bullingbrook Tyrone.
Bullingbrook’s performances included an electrifying guitar solo by Philip Hagan, an energetic dance routine by Rebecca Edwards and Kerry Jones, as well as an interpretation of Michael Jackson’s ’Thriller’ starring Alex McMaster and volunteers from LVI and UVI.
Although Bullingbrook house was the overall winner, each performance in the show was met with great applause, and all acts have to be commended on their enthusiasm.
