RSD’s Got Talent

In December 2016 the Charities Committee hosted a talent show, ” RSD’s Got Talent” in the lower campus, to raise funds for “Make A Wish Foundation”. There was a wide range of talent on show, from singing and dancing to magic and comedy. Each act performed brilliantly, with a commendable performance by a group of teachers including Mr Moore, Mrs Kerr, Miss Robinson, Mrs Stewart, Mrs White and Miss Williamson. Thomas Durant, our RSD Language Assistant, even performed his own song.

The afternoon of entertainment raised a grand total of £537.40, with all proceeds donated to “Make A Wish Foundation”. The judges (Dr Burnett, Mr Clingan and Mrs Clingan) voted to award places of first, second and third prize to Jorja Wilson (Year 8), Emma-Jane Orr (Year 9) and the teachers group respectively.

Special thanks to Mrs Stitt and Mrs Stewart for guiding the Charities Committee and hosting such a brilliant talent show, raising money for such a worthy cause. Thanks also go to all performers and those involved in this amazing event.
