On Friday 28 November, Councillor Cathal Mallaghan (Chair of Mid-Ulster District Council) spoke in Sixth Form Assembly to explain that in April 2015 the three councils of Cookstown, Dungannon and Magherafelt will form a new Mid Ulster District Council.    In advance of this, a community engagement process is being undertaken across the new Council area to influence the future delivery of public services and he encouraged pupils to voice their opinions by completing a “Youth Survey” questionnaire.
