On 25th January, Year 8 received the opportunity to watch the dramatic and hard-hitting production of ‘Unhealthy Relationships’, presented by ‘Spanner in the Works’. PSNI Constable Sue Wright also took some time to discuss particular issues linked to this topic. The production spoke of domestic violence and how to spot an unhealthy relationship. It was a most informative afternoon which the pupils enjoyed and benefited greatly from. Some year 8 students reported the play to be “a very insightful and an interesting way to learn about domestic violence”, another noted that it was “very good to spread awareness of domestic abuse, the characters made their plight very realistic.”
