Bronze TCE Award Recipients
Transitional Certificate of Education is awarded for the completion of Key Stage 3 courses in each subject. The TCE is based on pupils’ average marks across key assessments and their performance in Year 10. The top 20% approximately of pupils in each subject are awarded a distinction and the next 25% of pupils are awarded a credit. Pupils who achieve at least 8 distinctions receive a Gold Award. There is a Silver Award for pupils with 10 credits and a Bronze Award for those who obtain 6 credits. In the case of Silver and Bronze awards a distinction counts as 2 credits.
The Gold, Silver and Bronze Awards reward consistently high quality work. Congratulations to all of our Year 10 pupils in receipt of this.
