On Thursday 8^th and Friday 9^th March the A2 and AS art classes went to the Seacourt Printmaking Workshop in Bangor, where we spent the day working alongside professional artists, creating some original intaglio prints for use in our current projects. The trip was extremely successful, allowing us to learn new techniques and experiment with materials and equipment that we wouldn’t have otherwise had access to. Everyone found it to be a really enjoyable day and we all came away having created some fantastic prints. The A2 art class and Mrs Best also met the Mayor of North Down Borough Council, who was visiting the workshop and who was very impressed with the work of the RSD pupils.
