Aspire attend Young Enterprise NI Finals and awards ceremony

‘Aspire’, RSD’s Young Enterprise company were 1 of 8 companies across Northern Ireland to get through to the Young Enterprise NI Finals held on Friday 5th April, held at Invest NI in Belfast. They set up a stall showcasing their product and then presented their produce in front of all the other companies and guests, up to one hundred people. The group then had a fifteen minute interview in the Invest NI boardroom with 3 judges. Judges included Cool FM’s DJ, Pete Snodden, Eleanor McEvoy (Business Owner and Dragons Den star), Bill Wolsey (Hospitality Entrepreneur) and Carol Fitzsimons MBE, Young Enterprise NI Chief Executive.

The outcome of the interview was announced at the YENI Awards night in Belfast City Hall on Thursday 11th April, which the group again attended. Unfortunately team Aspire didn’t progress to the UK Finals, however the awards evening was thoroughly enjoyed by all and it was a great way to celebrate all their efforts and achievements with a fantastic product. Well done team Aspire!
