Emma competes in Irish Minor Schools Swimming Championship

Emma Chambers (Year 8) competed in the Irish Minor Schools Swimming Championship in Dublin National Aquatic Centre on Sunday 10th February, representing RSD. Admission to this gala was strictly for competitors who had obtained qualifying times in heats from the four provinces in Ireland.

Emma achieved 18th place in the 50m Butterfly, a commendable achievement considering the standard of competition. She also qualified for the final in the 50m breaststroke, finishing in 9th place overall. This was a great success for Emma and testament to her dedication and training, achieving  new personal bests in both swims. Well done.
