Year 13 pupils received their AS Level results and there were many impressive performances here too, with Anson Chan, Bebhinn Elliott-Murphy, Jonathan Hall, Ryan Li, Peter McClements, Luke Millar and Cherith Robinson all achieving 4 A grades. A further 6 pupils returned at least three A grades in their chosen subjects: Joshua A Clarke, Ellen Kirkland, Edison Shek, Rachael Hall, Catherine Boyd and James Stockdale.
The Headmaster, Dr David Burnett, described the results as, “A fitting reward for the hard work pupils have put in to their studies throughout their time at RSD. The new A Levels have increased the level of challenge for pupils and they have had to work with real commitment and determination. For some there have been obstacles along the way but, with terrific support from teachers and parents, they have persevered and achieved so much. We are thrilled that this great bunch of young people have done so well and created so many opportunities for their future.”
