Thursday 12 March saw the Royal School Dungannon host a Fashion Show by Menary’s and Creative Bridal to raise funds for Bethel Royal School in Uganda. RSD are planning a trip to this school as part of their 400th Anniversary celebrations. A team of 21 pupils and four staff are heading in July to this latest ‘Royal’ school, built as a 400th anniversary legacy project by the five Royal Schools of Ulster. Bethel Royal now educates around 1000 pupils. The Fashion Show was a huge success with many of the team and some teachers from RSD modelling the clothes. There was a casual section and a smart section of Menary’s clothes, and Benefit had a pop-up make-up shop at the event. The finale saw the models wearing some stunning evening dresses and little tea-dresses from Creative Bridal. The whole evening was a huge success and thanks must go to Gillian McFarlane (one of the parents of a team member) for all her hard work organising this.
