Festive Fundraising of £987 from the Charities Committee

Last week our Charities Committee organised a festive quiz for all form classes to enjoy after the Christmas Dinner, within bubble rooms. There were many giggles and good fun was had by all!

Charities Committee members sold a variety of popcorn and sweet cones on the day, as part of the event. As a result of profits from this event, our non-uniform day and also the raffle organised by the Safer Schools Team, the total amount of funds raised was £987! This money will be split equally between the Northern Ireland Cancer Fund for Children and Action Mental Health and it will make a real difference to both of these charities. Well done and thanks to all of our pupils who donated and got involved in the festive spirit of these events. Thanks also to the Charities Committee and members of staff involved for such a lovely injection of fun to an otherwise unusual end of term. It has been a great end to 2020 for the Charities Committee!
