The team celebrates a fine performance in the All-Ireland Championships

Congratulations to RSD’s Junior Girls Cross Country team who competed in the All-Ireland Championships which were held on Saturday 10th March in Galway. The team of six – Rebecca Boyd, Morgan Jenkins, Namphon Steele, Tiffany McDonald, Caitlin Rea and Kira McCammon – had qualified for the competition by finishing third in the Ulster Schools Cross Country Championships. The girls put in a fine performance to finish in a very creditable tenth place, with Rebecca Boyd finishing 50th in a field of 121.
