On Wednesday 17th May pupils were invited to compete in our RSD “Rainbow Run, Walk or Cycle” event. Pupils were encouraged to ‘Take 5’, enjoy their ‘day off’ Google Classroom and get out for some fresh air and exercise. Photographs were uploaded to chart everyones efforts and many also kindly donated to the South Tyrone Hospital Comfort Fund via ‘RSD Rainbow Record Breakers’ GoFundMe page. We are delighted with our current total of £3825!
Our PFTA very kindly offered prizes for the event and presented them as follows:
“We were absolutely delighted to present the prizes to the following people. It was a difficult decision as we were so impressed by the effort of the pupils, and of course the teachers, and we were so pleased to see that even the Headmaster’s dog entered into the spirit of the competition!
The prize winners are as follows:

‘Most Colourful Animal Companion’ awarded to Nicole Thompson (Year 8)
‘Funniest Photograph’ awarded to Zachary Rooney (Year 9)
