On Friday 12 October 70 pupils and staff travelled to Sheep Island, Ballintoy for what proved to be another fun filled SU Weekend. The theme of the weekend was “to be in the world but not of it” and our speaker was Neil Young from the Causeway Coast Vineyard church. On Saturday, after a night of very little sleep, we walked to Carrick-a-Rede Rope Bridge to spend the afternoon along the blustery coastline. The entertainment for that night was a children’s themed birthday party. On Sunday we held church ourselves in the youth hostel with each year group having the opportunity to lead in prayer, perform a short drama, or share their favourite verse before heading home to catch up on some much needed rest.
