This year, Amy and Hannah Whittle attended the Dublin Horseshow which was held at the RDS show grounds from 4^th to 8^th August.

Amy, who is in Year 12 and Hannah, Year 11, are well experienced as they have been showing ponies all their lives. They competed in several events at this very prestigious occasion which is in fact the biggest horseshow in Ireland.

On Wednesday 4^th August, Amy competed in the Connemara Performance Hunter Championships for 5-7 year old ponies. She says she was a little nervous before the event but when she got into the ring, like a true professional, all nerves disappeared and she came third with Ashfield Troubadour and fourth with Ashfield Jack Sparrow in the class for ponies 8-15 years old. For the Connemara Hunter Championship classes only 18 ponies qualified from all over Ireland from the six qualifying shows, so these results from Amy are really exceptional.

Also, on Saturday 7^th August she came first on Ashfield Jack Sparrow in the 14h Working Hunter Pony and Hannah came 6th on Ashfield Troubadour in the same class. These are excellent results for the girls and obviously a lot of hard work and dedication has paid off.
