The RSD U14 Hockey Squad recently played in the Mid-Ulster Cup, finishing as Silver Medallists after playing a total of 3 matches. They commenced the tournament playing Dromore High School winning 2-0; with goals from Sarah Shrestha and Hannah Sloss (both Year 10). Following this match, the girls won against Clounagh Junior High School at a score of 1-0, with a goal from Jessica McClung (also Year 10).

In a hard-fought final against Royal School Armagh, the game finished at 0-0 and went to penalty strokes. Unfortunately the girls lost the final to Armagh, after losing 2-1, with a goal from Sarah Shrestha.

The girls are to be commended on their efforts and success within the tournament, returning as silver medallists.
