Year 9 & 10 students compete at Ulster Schools Swimming competition

A team of 7 students represented RSD at the Ulster Schools swimming competition on Sunday 16th October. The swimmers were young for their age group category (age 12-14) and were competing in a strong field where many schools were represented throughout Ulster.  Our eager students swam to set new personal bests in many races and performed to a strong personal standard.  We would like to congratulate each one for their dedication and for seizing this opportunity to gain more experience.  It was a long day for our dedicated competitors, leaving home at 5.45am and returning at 4pm.

Unfortunately on this occasion they were unsuccessful in achieving a medal but we would like to wish them all the best for future competitions and commend them for their fantastic efforts so far.

Our sincere congratulations go to: Hannah Courtney, Ethan Curry, James Moan, Adam Scott, Ellie Wilkinson, Sarah Wilson (all Year 9),  and Ellie Curry (Year 10).
