On 10 April Year 13 and 14 English Literature pupils attended a sell-out event in the Ulster Hall. It was a celebration of the life and work of Seamus Heaney with poetry readings by Carol Ann Duffy and other famous poets.  Duffy is the Poet Laureate and we study her work at GCSE and AS level so the pupils really enjoyed listening to her read her work and queued at the book signing for a photograph.  She was very encouraging and interacted pleasantly with the pupils. Dinner at Chicago Blue just made the night even better!
