Over the past four years RSD has been working with the four other Royal Schools and the Fields of Life charity to fund the building of a new ‘Royal School’ in Uganda. The new school, Bethel Royal High School, is located in Nakasongola, a few hours drive north of the Ugandan capital, Kampala. It opened in 2010 and continues to grow and flourish.

Pupils from Bethel Royal’s choir visited RSD on Friday 6 September as part of their tour of Ireland. They attended some lessons and then performed at the Scripture Union after school. Their day in Dungannon concluded with a concert in St. Anne’s Church on Friday evening where they were accompanied by the well-known Christian worship leader Nathan Jess.
