Well done to Jack Milligan (Year 14) who has made a real impression with his excellent performances for the Ulster Under 19 side this year. Jack took advantage of an opportunity to move from scrum half to out half and was a key figure in helping the team clinch the Inter-Provincial Crown.

In the match against Munster Jack proved his ability to succeed under pressure by scoring the winning points with a huge 50 metre penalty kick just four minutes before the final whistle, to leave the score Ulster 13 Munster 10.

Having proved himself to the selection team, Jack was again selected to start in the out half position against Connacht. And yet again, he managed to score the winning points, this time by making an 80 metre break to score a try between the posts.  He added two points with the conversion to seal a 13-9 win for Ulster.

RSD’s senior rugby players welcome the return of Jack, and hope that he can bring his experience and leadership skills to the squad in his final season representing the school and competing in the Ulster Schools Cup.
