On Sunday 20th November, Caleb Dilworth (Year 11) competed in the Irish Indoor Open Archery Championships which were held in Dundalk.  Over 120 archers took part, including members of national squads, former Olympians and some of the top archers from Ireland and Europe.  Congratulations to Caleb, who secured victory in his section of the competition.  He  is now the Irish Open Junior Compound Champion.

Following on from this superb achievement, Caleb represented Northern Ireland in the Grand National Archery Society Junior National Indoor Championships, which were held in Telford on 3rd December. Caleb’s performance in his individual section helped the Northern Ireland Squad to win the overall Home Nations Event.  This is the first time the national squad has achieved this accolade and it is therefore a very significant victory.  Well done to Caleb for the part he played!
