In this new A Level, pupils learn to appreciate how science contributes in a fundamental way to both economic success and the success of society.
They explore how different scientific industries rely upon one another in order to grow and develop; how society makes decisions about scientific issues; and how the sciences contribute to the success of the economy and society.
The course will also develop pupils’ competence in a full range of key practical, mathematical and problem-solving skills.
