The excitement builds during the warm-up

In November there were two very successful and enjoyable Rugby Club outings.

The first, on 22 November, was a Friday night visit to Ravenhill to see Ulster take on Pro 12 rivals Edinburgh. The Year 8 boys who attended were delighted to see a convincing 41-17 victory for Ulster and an appearance from former pupil Peter Nelson, who came on for Ulster in the second half.

The second trip, which took place on Sunday 23 November and involved players from the senior rugby and medallion squads, was to the Aviva Stadium to watch Ireland take on the mighty All Blacks in what proved to be a truly thrilling test match.  Despite the fact that Ireland lost the match in the dying seconds, everyone had a great day out – perhaps nobody more so than the three Kiwi tutors Mark, Corey and Jarrod!
