Every year the proceeds from the sale of programmes for the school play or musical are donated to charity. This year we managed to raise an excellent total of £115 for Waakisa Ministries, with only three or four programmes left unsold at the end of the four nights.

Thanks to everyone who came to see South Pacific and bought a programme.

Waakisa Ministries is a charity that works in Uganda, providing support to young, vulnerable Ugandan girls who, under pressure and with limited choices, face crisis pregnancies and the threat of HIV & AIDS.  The charity provides much-needed support for the girls in their care and also gives them the education they need to get themselves out of a vicious circle of poverty – a very worthy cause and one we are glad to be able to support.
