Andrew Mylroi Lamont (Year 12) has been very successful in being awarded a bursary from the prestigious Mary Peters Trust to support his training for the Waveski World Championships, which will be held in Northern Spain during the summer of 2018.
He was delighted to receive such an honour, and attended an Athlete Academy meeting in Belfast earlier this month, where certificates and awards were distributed to athletes from a wide range of sporting fields.
We wish Andrew every success as he continues to train for the Waveski World Championships.
