On Thursday 14th March, a group of Year 13 and Year 14 RE pupils attended a lecture entitled “CS Lewis and the Imagination” in the campus of Stranmillis University College, Belfast. The esteemed CS Lewis scholar Dr Jerry Root from Wheaton College, USA, gave an engaging and informative lecture on CS Lewis to a packed lecture theatre. After the lecture Dr Root took the time to meet the RSD party, shake hands with everyone and speak to group. CS Lewis is studied at A level as an example of a modern day apologist and it was very enlightening to listen to and then meet such a well-respected authority on CS Lewis.
